Meri Kate has wanted to do hair as far back as she can remember. After attending the Arrojo School of Cosmetology, she joined Eva Scrivo Salons in 2010, where her keen eye, talent for color, and passion for the craft, quickly became manifest. Having apprenticed under Eva and our other senior staff, Meri Kate has since become one of our top colorists – proficient with both balayage and foil highlighting techniques, as well as with the intricate science of color correction. She is also a skilled stylist and hair extensions specialist, including the customization of color to match one's natural hair. Meri Kate has worked with Eva on high profile shoots such as for the NFL, and helped Eva customize hair color for shows at NY Fashion Week. She has also taken advanced courses with L'Oreal Professionnel and Wella, and assisted Eva with her own classes for L'Oreal. These experiences stimulated Meri Kate's passion for education, as she has since become a top instructor, coordinator, and Eva's overall right hand person, at the Eva Scrivo Advanced Academy for hairdressers from around the world.
